JAMI Heidegger, industrial snoop? The Harvard grad sold off the Kiehl’s cosmetics business to L’Oreal for a reported $150 million in 2000. Now Heidegger, known for her alabaster complexion and flowing dark hair, is interested in launching a new line of skin- care products. She recently ordered two bottles of Shinso Essense, the $200 Japanese wrinkle cream that’s said to be used by Jennifer Aniston and Eva Longoria Parker. The order for delivery to Heidegger’s home first went through. But then someone at Shinso recognized her name. Fearful of a spying mission, “they respectfully e-mailed Heidegger to decline her order,” said our source. Heidegger called the cancellation “insulting as well as silly,” since manufacturers have to list all ingredients on their labels. “I use the product, and I like it,” she told us. “They’d get more mileage out of saying Jami Heidegger uses our product than by accusing me of industrial espionage.”
